Fred Gnalega from JMG academy in Mali signs for 5 years with the French Ligue 2 team
New reinforcement for Pascal Gastien. Coming from the Jean-Marc Guillou Academy in Mali, the young Ivorian Fred Gnalega was spotted and recruited for five seasons by Clermont Foot 63. The Auvergne club notably praised his great technical skills. Entered at the age of 10 years old in 2011 at the JMG Academy in Mali, the young Ivorian player showed throughout his training qualities above the average being regularly outclassed and finishing among the best in technical mastery tests which are the ” trademark ”of the JMG training. The Malian Football Federation had also courted him to join the under-17 selection of that country. A reinforcement that must now get down to polishing the tem 5th place in Ligue 2.
Clermont Foot 63 thus continues to prepare for the future of its professional group around both the game project of General Coach Pascal Gastien and the club’s sporting philosophy. Fred Gnalega is also in the footsteps of others African players from the JMG Academy to complete their training and gradually integrate the pro group according to their progress.Since 2019, Ghanaians Alidu Seidu, Salis Abdul Samed and Blankson Anoff have arrived in Auvergne, Anoff being currently on loan for the 2020-2021 season at Austria Lustenau which is, with the Danish club Vendsyssel FF, one of the two partner clubs of CF63.
