The TOP MERCATO web magazine announced that Clermont Sport soccer club of Ligue 2 in France confirmed the arrival of two new reinforcements from the Jean-Marc Guillou Soccer Academy of Côte d’Ivoire.
- Blankson Anoff, an 18-year-old attacking midfielder, joined the team until June 2023.
- Salis Abdul Samed, a 19-year-old defensive midfielder, is on loan for the next two seasons.
Author of a conclusive test at the end of last season, Blankson and Salis enter the professional group and will carry numbers 13 and 20 respectively.
The 2 Ghanaian-born players participated in the friendly match against JS Kabylie (1-1). They walked on the pitch with the first team replacements. They committed themselves after a convincing test last week.
“They are talented players and this is a great opportunity for us,” says coach Pascal Gastien in an interview with La Montagne magazine.
