Three offensive players who are some names expected when it comes to list the best league dribblers in French D1. But are the attackers really the only ones to shine in this area?

Well not so sure about that. A Ligue 1 player changes things every weekend: JMG Youcef Atal.  OGC Nice’s side defender, proves weeks after weeks by dribbling his opponents that this conception is false .  Comfortable in the 3-5-2 of Patrick Vieira, the young Algerian international has 63 successful dribble. This makes him the third best dribbler in FRENCH LIGUE 1, he is tied with Hatem Ben Arfa and Neymar.  Only his teammate Allan Saint-Maximin (87 successful dribbles) and Marcus Thuram (64) are ahead of him. Better yet, if we look at the ranking in the five major European leagues, Atal is sixth: Eden Hazard, Lionel Messi and Sofiane Boufal coming in front of him.
