Kone Hamed “Hamedo” an Ivorian midfielder from our third promotion whom was playing in the Swiss Championship. Before Switzerland he was playing in Albania. Last december he quit First Division club NEUCHÂTEL XAMAX FCS and wants to move on. Often called the “Ivorian Maradona” he is open to cross the Atlantic and play in MLS, his ambition is to create an impression and catch the eye of Ivorian coach Ibrahim Kamara.

Skillful, speed and power with a unique technique, Hamedo as his friends calls him, dreams to put on the orange jersey. “It’s a dream I’ve been caressing for a long time. It is true that I lacked media attention during my career. But, I will do everything to show that I have my place with the national selection.
Aged 31, he comes from our third class promotion (the same has Gervinho) in our academy from Abidjan. Without any complex, he believes he has the physical power and technical skills to bring added value to this Elephants team. Versatile player, Koné Hamed can play as a midfielder but also a winger. A significant asset that he wants to put at the service of his country in the perspective of CAN 2019 in Cameroon.
