Used four times since his return from loan from Panathinaikos, Cheikh Niasse benefits from an exit voucher to leave LOSC this winter. The Netherlands and Belgium seemed the most likely destinations. His departure could become clearer in the next few hours.

An agreement was reached on Monday evening between LOSC and Young Boys Bern
After the first revelations from La Voix des Sports, L’Equipe indicates that the midfielder has arrived in Bern for his medical examination. The 22-year-old will join BSC Young Boys, who are currently third in the Swiss championship.
Indeed, the Young Boys bought out the midfielder’s contract which expired in June 2023. The amount of the transfer fee is estimated at two million euros with a 15% bonus on any capital gain at resale.
The 22-year-old Cheikh Niasse was fifth in the midfield hierarchy which gave him little playing time (46 minutes in five appearances). Frustrated at not playing, he had sent a letter to his management this fall asking them to release him in January.
Cheikh Niasse will be in Bern this Tuesday morning to undergo the medical examination and sign in the wake of signing his contract.
