Arrived in Clermont-Ferrand in the summer of 2019 with his teammates from the JM Guillou Academy, Blankson will continue his post-training at FC Swift Hespérange, a resident of the Luxembourg first division.
After a first loan from Clermont Foot 63 in 2020-2021 to their reserve team Austria Lustenau, Blankson only 20 years old, will take a higher step with a loan without options which brings him into a football league which has made great progress in recent years. In the past years the progression of the league has allowed Luxembourg national team, to reached the 96th place in the FIFA world rankings without mentionning clubs such as F91 Dudelange that improved their European results.
Promoted to the “National Division” in 2020 and having maintained themself during the 2020-2021 season by qualifying even for the UEFA League Conference thanks to their 3rd place, Hespérange wants to continueit’s progression and is coached by Vincent Hognon .
The championship kicks off this weekend with a first away match against Racing Union de Luxembourg-Ville. The player is under contract with Clermont Foot 63 until 2023 and has done pre-season preparation under Pascal Gastien. Good luck Blankson and see you soon!
