Manuel Benson officially arrives at the Excel Mouscron in the form of a loan, the club of Limburg announced Saturday on its official website.

The Belgian player Manuel Benson loaned to Excel Mouscron by Genk until the end of the season. The 21-year-old Belgian winger played 11 games last season for the Limburg team. Benson arrives at the Canonnier in the hope of being given more play time.

Benson joined Limburg in the summer of 2017 from Lierse, where he scored 4 goals in 9 matches in the playoffs II.

Mouscron, beaten 2-0 by Anderlecht on Friday night, is the red flag of the championship. Frank Defays’ team also announced Friday the return of Belgian central defender Noë Dussenne from FC Crotone.
