Francis Amuzu, formed at in Belgium at the JMG academy in Lierse, has extended his contract with RSC Anderlecht until June 30, 2022. The announcement is official and was announced Monday by the club Brussels. Both parties agreed to the terms of a contract extension for 2 years. His previous contract ended in June 2020. The 19-year-old Ghanaian-born Belgian winger arrived in Neerpede in April 2015 and made his team debut two years ago. He has since played in 47 games. Amuzu is also an international U21 for Belgium.

“We showed yesterday against KV Oostende that the RSC Anderlecht invests more than ever in our own young players. No less than six players from the base eleven have been formed in our academy. Francis Amuzu is one of them, “said sports director Michael Verschueren, on the club’s website. “With Francis, we have great talent in our ranks. We are therefore very happy that he has extended his contract. A bright future awaits him at the RSCA. ”

We  mentioned last week that there were rumors that he could leave for the the English Premier League, this still remains to be seen. On the other hand this time with this extension of contract, Anderlecht protects them selfs and at the same time secures Amuzu for an extra 2 years.
