Ahmed Sayed Zizo’s solo goal helped Zamalek to win against Misr El-Makkasa 1-0 in the second fixture of the Egyptian Premier League,
Around 55th minutes of the game, Ahmed Sayed Zizo smashed the ball into the bottom corner after a brilliant solo run that make it 1-0 for the White Knights. Then Zamalek controlled the game and prevented the Fayoum-based side from threatening their keeper Mohamed Awad’s until the referee blew the fulltime whistle. The win takes Zamalek FC to the league’s third spot with six points ahead of FC Masr on the 6th of October. Meanwhile, El-Makkasa occupy the sixth spot with three points.
More good news for ZIZO, is on the list of the new players invited by the Faraons national team head coach Hossam Badry for the beginning of the CAN 2021 competitions. He will take on Kenya’s Harambee Stars in their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations Group G opener next month. He will join players such as Mohamed Salah from Liverpool, Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet from Aston Villa.

Ahmed Sayed commonly known as Zizo was Zamalek FC second winter acquisition.Ahmed formerly with Portugal’s Moreirense, Zamalek said on their website that Zizo has joined on a three-and-a-half year deal, without disclosing any financial details. The 23-year-old came through the youth ranks of Egypt’s Wadi Degla JMG Soccer Academy before moving to Belgian side Lierse in the summer of 2013, where he scored five goals and provided 10 assists in 77 appearances.
